I have been affiliated with this hospice service for over a year while employed in Fayetteville in a long-term care facility. They have been one of the contracted services in the facility. I have nothing but positive things to say about their services. There is no doubt in my mind that Brightmoor Hospice will be an excellent addition to any facility. The company has always been known to provide staff with a sound character. compassionate, conscientious, disciplined, honest, humble, patient, persistent, resilient, and with a great sense of ambition. Over the course of the year, I have witnessed through the staff a tremendous growth in the number of patients, adaptability, organization, self-management, teamwork, and problem solving. Recently, I received a call from a family friend about her husband who had end stage cardiac disease and end stage renal failure who had made the decision to discontinue dialysis and pursue comfort care. The patient was already declining rapidly and his demise was imminent. From the time the referral was received to the time an admission nurse was dispatched to the home was less than 30 minutes. Our team had no hesitation at 9:30 in the evening to provide support and comfort to the family. The patient passed peacefully at home two days later and his wife expressed that this experience, although very difficult, the support she received from the Brightmoor team was exceptional."
